Mozambique has abundant natural resources and magnificent landscapes.  The nation is almost twice the size of California, with tremendous amounts of productive farmland, carbon-rich forests, and landscapes (national parks and beaches) that enable world-class ecotourism businesses.

Gorongosa Ventures is an Idaho Falls, Idaho based company that owns majority control of for-profit, for-impact businesses in Mozambique in agriculture, tourism, fishing, and aviation. These businesses create employment, career, and investment opportunities for Americans, as well as Mozambicans. 

For Gorongosa Ventures, social and environmental investments are not a “nice-to-have”— they are a fundamental part of our business model. We need a healthy and educated workforce.
